From first instillation it hummed noticeable, much more then the original transformer that it replaced. It then quit recently after only 1 1/2 years. The original transformer lasted for around 20 years. This unit was either defective or poorly designed and made. I will not buy this brand again. (Posted on 9/30/2023)

My lights would flicker due to the thermal breaker. I ordered the same transformer and it was an easy replacement. Worked well. At $20 it’s much cheaper than relaxing the light. (Posted on 3/28/2022)
