We purchased this transformer to replace our old one that blew out. The first one we received did not work but customer care was great. They sent out another one and its up and working great! I can not say enough about the customer care we received. Awesome and I would order from them again. Very fast shipping-great value. It was a replacement for a 14 year old worn out transformer. I'm going to watch the video-my lights take about 30 seconds to come on after switching them on. Maybe it is not installed correctly?? In any event-loved it! (Posted on 8/26/2017)

This replaced the 230W transformer in our George Kovacs P8003-1-084 Three Light Mini Pendant that failed after ten years of use. It works great, has the same soft-start feature of the original (saves bulbs). We are driving it at capacity (3X 50W bulbs), but it seems to be doing well and without any issues.

Straightforward replacement of a transformer that had been overloaded to the point of failure. I thought the leads were too short (a little longer would have been convenient), but they were long enough to pass through the center hole with a little coaxing. For those wanting to convert halogen to all LED bulbs, this is NOT your best choice. The light fixture I used this on had 5 halogen bulbs that I wanted to convert to LED; I was able to replace 4 of 5 with LED, leaving one halogen. If they're all LED, there isn't sufficient load and the lights will flicker badly. This isn't a flaw in the transformer. Fortunately, although I didn't know why at the time, I remembered reading someone's "complaint" that their transformer was bad because the LED lights flickered unless there was one halogen, I put one halogen bulb back, and all is good. Basically, the small cost of the transformer and some advice from my (electrical engineer) brother saved me from having to replace an ceiling "suspended track" fixture that would have cost well over $100.
