Our product designers and technicians want to remind you of the following: Magnetic lighting transformers are designed for 100% capacity (max. wattage). However we recommend using 80-85% of max. wattage, to be safe, due to varied lighting loads and types. Transformers require proper ventilation. The maximum ambient temperature should not exceed 50°C (122°F). If you insure that the temperature around transformer doesn't exceed 50°C (122°F) you can load transformer to 100% of operating capacity. Wire resistance, depending on gauge and length can be a factor in your lighting project performance and operation (voltage drop). Please use a qualified experienced electrician to install your lighting transformers.

Needed a dimmable transformer for my LEDs to convert a special fixture. Originals didn't work with my dimmer pack setup. This one did. It was the solution I needed at a good price for this size of unit. Thanks. (Posted on 11/18/2019)
