Converting your Halogen fixture to LED bulbs?

We recognize that there are thousands of the HD150 type transformers out there and they are failing. Our customers want to go to a transformer that has the same size and shape but they want to use a LED bulb. For this reason we sourced this no-load transformer. It is perfect for the LED small wattages and will allow you to still dim your fixtures. You may have to upgrade your dimmer to one for LED, but it will be well worth it in the long run.

If you have any of these HALOGEN transformers HD150 or HD-150 Transformer also similar to Anchorn Model# AET-D1501 150watt 120 to 12volt transformer. MDL 316-0002 transformer (like SL-728 transformer). Jing Neng TJN1150, and PLT BSET150 and want to move up to a LED bulb in your fixture we recommend this driver / transformer the LED TA150WA12LED. It will help with the flicker problem when using a halogen transformer with a LED Bulb. Also note that if your dimmer has a minimum load requirement it may not perform well. If this happens let us know, you will want to isolate any problems. Your qualified electrician will have no problem with installation.

I bought this to replace an aging transformer that resulted in flickering lights. Installation was relatively straightforward, and initially everything was good. However, now it will not work. There are no shorts in the system and I am powering 5x 6w LED bulbs, so it is not overloaded. I suspect that I will just buy a new light fixture as I am fed up with dealing with transformers!
