I got this as a replacement for a recessed ceiling light. It works well, easy to install and arrived on time. What I found most useful was the video for troubleshooting. I learned about the difference with analog and digital test meters. I thought they worked the same. Also the other information about testing with and without load. (Posted on 2/6/2020)

Im so happy with the transformer. It saved me from scraping the $170 light fixture. Took 15 minutes to install and was real easy. The lighting store wanted 4x more to order the transformer. Was easier than getting in my car and driving 25 miles to pick up at the store and pay 4x...Thank you! (Posted on 10/7/2019)

I needed a replacement transformer for a 20 year old lighting system.
The MDL 316-0004 fit perfectly in place of the old unit.
Initial tests show the lights are on.
I have not tried the dimming feature.
I'll see if there are any issues going forward but I suspect it will work well for many years to come.
